Ministry Lead: Emerging Generation
(Children and Young People 0-25s, including Youthwork)

Location: Based at Creech Baptist Church, Creech St Michael, Somerset
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum (based on experience)
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. 
 
What are we Looking For?
We are looking for a warm, capable and engaging individual who is passionate about Jesus and young people for this key role in our church. This dynamic and self-starting person will hold the broad strategic oversight of all our ministries to ‘the next generation’ (0-25 year olds). As such you will meet with, encourage and have oversight for the leaders, teams and ministries to our children, youth and young adults. However, more than half of the time given to this role will be the practical day-to-day ministry among our 11-18 year olds. We’re looking for someone who is fab at youthwork and really engages, cares for and inspires our youth and other young people to discover, love and follow Jesus more. 
 
This s a wonderful opportunity for the right person to grow and develop in the role, and to use their combined gifts of ministry, strategic thinking, creativity and youthwork to make a big impact and shape the future of this important area of our church life. You will also be a key member of our broader leadership team (non-trustee), with the opportunity to contribute to the wider strategic and vision discussions and decisions of the church.
